What schools did you attend at Crowley ISD?
I attended Dallas Park Elementary, Sue Crouch Intermediate, Summer Creek Middle School and North Crowley High School.

Who was your most influential teacher?
The most influential teacher I've ever had was my former choir director, Mrs. Robyn Hollimon.

What is your greatest memory or memories of high school?
Many of the greatest memories I have from high school take place in some sort of musical performance or competition.

One of my favorites is from my freshman year when I competed with North Crowley High School's varsity mixed choir at the Festival di Voce, a competitive choral competition at Dallas Baptist University. On the way to our competition, we hear word of the death of a beloved North Crowley senior, Paul Sneed. His passing brought deep remorse and an abundance of tears, which made it difficult to keep our minds focused on the competition at hand. Moments before our warm up time, North Crowley choir gathered in a circle and joined hands to pray for Paul and his family, and we decided then and there that our performance was to be dedicated to Paul.

Only a small crowd was present in the audience, but we sang our hearts out, especially in our piece titled, "There Will Be Rest". Combined with our months of hard work and rehearsals, our united emotions and our passion helped lead to our success as the first Grand Champions in the history of the festival. We were overjoyed to find out we had won the competition, and our hearts were humbled to know that it was all done and achieved for Paul.

What clubs/groups/activities were you involved in at CHS?
At North Crowley High School, I was involved in choir, tennis, theatre, musical theatre, Drama Club, the National Honor Society, the P.R.I.D.E Project and Panthers for Christ.

What are your plans for college/future?

In the future, I plan to attend Baylor University to study nursing and possibly obtain a minor in Vocal Performance. After I earn a bachelor's degree, I plan to continue and earn a master's degree in nursing so that I may work as a family nurse practitioner.
